In my experience, it's not the area. It's the time of day.

I've gotten superior vigors recently as well. Not all the time of course, but I'd say two in the last 3 months or so, one I got and sold just this last week.

with my ranger I get plenty of Black Dye drop for three years of playing - 7 pieces of black dye, from various enemies. with my other characters, only with my Rt - Margonite in ss/lb farm Remains of Sahlahja, and with my Assassin, just outside the Shing Jea Monastery. Strange thing that was my very young characters. Funny I never get black dye with Monk, Elementalist, Necromancer and Warrior, whose all three years old... ?

my favorite one was when I walked outside to look at a shield and decided to autoattack an iboga outside kamadan. Black dye drop XD

I have gotten over 60 black dyes from Raptors Since 1/1/08, and probably another 100 when i was farming for my FoW last year.

Ya really. Personally I've only used it on my eles 15k canthan, along with a blue and purple.

On topic: I got one UW farming the other day with my mes, and another during Gyala Hatchery, the last mission I needed for Protector of Cantha. That was a good day.
